The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40 is an iconic watch crafted from 18ct yellow gold and features a green dial, fluted bezel and a President bracelet. Its remarkable design was first presented in 1956, featuring hour markers made of gold for a timeless look. Its Oyster architecture and Twinlock double waterproofness system provide 100 metres / 330 feet of water resistance.

The mechanical, self-winding movement is powered by the 3255 Calibre and features a Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a bidirectional winding system with an approximate 70-hour power reserve.
