The Oyster Perpetual Rolex Deepsea timepiece is a luxurious and durable watch crafted from Oystersteel with a Cerachrom bezel insert in black ceramic. It features a D-blue dial with large luminescent hour markers, celebrating James Cameron’s historic solo dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

The 44 mm case is an Oyster architecture with a screw-down case back and winding crown, utilizing the Rolex Ringlock system and an integrated helium escape valve. The watch is waterproof to a depth of 3,900 metres (12,800 feet) and has a unidirectional, rotatable 60-minute bezel with a scratch-resistant Cerachrom insert.

The domed sapphire crystal is 5.5 mm-thick and scratch-resistant. Powered by the Perpetual, mechanical, self-winding Calibre 3235 with a -2/+2 sec/day precision after casing, the timepiece features centre hour, minute and seconds hands, as well as an instantaneous date with rapid setting.
