Back in 1997, the Aquanaut watch caused quite a stir with its youthful, contemporary design. The rounded octagonal case was inspired by the Nautilus, and the strap was made of a new composite material that was highly resistant to wear, salt water, and UV radiation.

This self-winding watch features a mechanical movement with the caliber 26-330 S C FUS and Aquanaut Travel Time, allowing for the display of local and home time in two time zones. Day/night indications for both zones are displayed in apertures, along with a local date by hand and sweep seconds hand. The embossed dial is black, while the steel case is water-resistant up to 120m and includes a screw-down crown and sapphire crystal case back. The case measures 40.8mm in diameter from 10-4 o'clock and is 10.2mm in height. The black polymer material strap is completed with an Aquanaut fold-over clasp.
